I recently had the pleasure of working with the nicest couple. I didn’t meet Justine & Nick until a couple of days before the wedding but I liked them both from the outset. Relaxed, happy people who just couldn’t wait to be married. The bride & I had lots in common which made everything a little easier. She was simply a pleasure to be around & a dream to photograph; which always makes me happy. So there was no bridezilla here to deal with & Justine has become one of my all time favourite brides.
And can you believe that they are both Smiths?? No name changing to deal with there:)
Here’s the first installment…thanks for looking. R

My favourite of Justine, absolutely stunning

Little Lily, gazing up at her aunt the gorgeous bride. Her face says it all!

The flowers were so simple & beautiful

The other Smith:)

Nick with his boys

Here comes the bride

I always love the groom's anticipation

A beautiful moment mid ceremony

Flower girl Lily didn't miss a thing

Back blogging…I know I’m not the most committed blogger but this gorgeous young lady has motivated me again.
Maisy was the most beautiful Debutante I have ever had the pleasure to photograph; she had such a sense of class, style & purity. I couldn’t help but be reminded of Audrey Hepburn…simple elegance…& a lovely girl as well! Some girls have all the luck:)

Ridiculously divine

Glorious curls

I took my daughter along to this shoot & there were a couple of other little girls there as well. From the look on their faces & from what they said after, I think they thought they were in the presence of a princess.
They were spot on.

I did a shoot recently with a family that were just so much fun & I thought it high time to get their shots up.
I know I kind of lost my momentum after recharging my blogging batteries but I will persevere!
The Ryneharts chose the location & we met up (on a sealed road at this stage I might add) & I then followed them to what I was sure was the middle of nowhere! After we had traveled through a creek (that I thought was raging) & lots of dirt road bush bashing we arrived at the most beautiful spot & proceeded to have a blast. It’s a big effort to get 3 kids & a baby organized & clean & out of the house for a photo shoot. To then laugh through it & enjoy it is to be commended. Well done Ryneharts & here are the first few:)

Mum & Dad were so comfortable together & this always photographs well.

Three big kisses for baby Tobias…lotsa lovin’…

She is here. She is perfect. She is Inshala (God Willing)
In fact it all went so well that Annie was home less than a day after the birth. Annie is the coolest, cruisiest mother & the apple sure didn’t fall far from the tree! Inshala is THE most content, relaxed little muffin I have ever come across.
Congratulations to you all. Inshala has picked the most wonderful family to be a part of:) You have all been blessed with each other.

17 hours old…total serenity…all round.

You may remember a post from a couple of years back about the beautiful Annie…won’t go into it again but she is fabulously & very heavily pregnant & we thought we had better catch the moment in a light hearted, fun way. Savvy was too funny doing his best Zoolander impersonation & it was his idea to ALL be pregnant. Gorgeous kids.

This is one, big family affair!

Holidays are over & the kids are all back at school. Starting to catch my breath again! Have consumed enough chocolate to last another year & then some…
On the morning of Good Friday our littlest one got up & announced that we should not be happy today as it was not ‘Good’ Friday.
After questioning her she simply replied that it was in fact ‘Bad’ Friday…”Somebody died you know.” Out of the mouths of babes:)
Hope you had a happy & safe Easter.

These girls are a photographer’s heaven…
I always have a little giggle because they actually make me work quite hard but when I see the results it’s always worth it! Could they be any more beautiful??
Thanks for looking, Rx

It really caught me off guard…maybe because she’s my baby or maybe because I thought she always would be the little one but from one day to the next they just start to grow up, with in your face physical reminders that you simply can’t argue with. And this one knocked me off balance just for a second. I can’t stop the clock. I can’t keep her at 5 much longer. So had better just go with the flow…
One day she was like this…

and the next, she was like this…

First tooth gone.
Just like that…
